Robert Kirkman's "The Walking Dead" has redefined the zombie genre and while there have been many imitators of late, all fail miserably compared to this series. The story is just as much, if not more, about the group of survivors interacting with each other as it is about the zombie threat lurking around every corner. You will care about these characters.
