This novel was great. It was fast paced, exciting and educational.
The reader along with the characters were dropped into the middle
of the Hundred Year War with the use of some not so unrealistic
technology.
I found that even though the situation probably won't happen in
real life, Crichton made it seem believeable. It was very easy for
me to close my eyes and picture Chris over coming his fear and
fighting knights or Marek falling in love with Lady Claire. I
learned a lot about medieval times, customs and traditions through
this book.
The characters were well developed, the plot was well written and
the overall book was impressing. Crichton did an excellent job
writing this book and it is obvious that it was well researched.
