Young Ichigo (in English her name would be Strawberry) is normal. Well, she was, at least. She was pretty much a normal girl going to a normal school with, of course, a normal crush on the popular guy at school. Until she becomes a part of "Project Mew" and is given the DNA of an indangered wild cat, turning her into "Mew Ichigo." Its her job now to find the other girls like her and make them her team, and stop a group of aliens from taking over the world. These aliens apperently originally lived on Earth, but left because it was pretty much a waste land. On returning, they find out humans now live there, and they're polluting the earth. In trying to RESTART the earth, the alien leader, Deep Blue, wants to destroy it and start it from the beginning again. But who really is this "Deep Blue"? Why does Aoyama, her crush, seem to have a strange ability? And will Ichigo be able to rescue her beautiful planet, Earth, before its too late?

Tokyo Mew Mew is a great manga for a lot of ages. The five super heros that you meet in this Manga as you read all seven of the books are quite diffrent in many ways. Mew Ichigo, Minto, Lettuce, Pudding, And Zakuro fight to save the world. Ichigo has quite a love life with Masya her super cute boyfriend but she finds it hard telling him that she is a infused with a cat and is now Mew Ichigo. I don't want to spoil it for you. So please, buy this pluss the other books. And take the woderful adventure for yourself.

I loved this book, it's the most exciting book of the whole series! It's great! You CAN'T get any more Tokyo mew mew than this! Mrraoou!

A word to any major shoujo-manga lovers - this manga is ABSOLUTELY amazing and you'll be missing out on a great deal of fun if you don't read it!! Ichigo can be a klutz but she's adorable in the way she likes Masaya!

Well, one day, I was Bored so I went shopping with my mom. So i loved reading, so I suggested Chapters. After roaming the store, i felt like reading Anime/ Manga. The first book I picked out was Physic Academy, Ok, so I was grossed out by the pics because I'm only 12 and i was flipping through the pages. Then I tooked out Tokyo Mew Mew, and it was perfect. After reading a little, i bought almost the whole collection. (My story is a bit boring but i lived through it) I would rate it a 10 if i could. = P

Tokyo Mew Mew is an amazingly writen series by a very creative author. The story of five young girls, who, when infused with 'red animal' genes - or those of endangered animals - can transform in to super-heroines who set out to save the planet earth and all its inhabitants from Kish, Pie, Tart and their leader, Deep Blue; a group of alians bent on the distruction of the human populaion so as to caim the world as their own. The five girls meet as strangers, but become fast friends befor long. Ichigo - the team leader and the first girl to discover her Mew Mew instincts - deals with the normal life of being a pre - teen on the side of being a super heroine and a waitress at the stylish Cafe Mew Mew; and on top of her haveing a crush on the most popular guy in school - Masaya - she soon falls for her boss, and her arch enemy. The series reminds the reader slightly of Sailor Moon, but has its own unique twists. A must read for everyone.

This book was so amazing I cant wait to find out what happens next. I love how it leaves you hanning so that you buy the next one.

I've never read a better shojo. It's excellent!! The charaters are cute the plot is funny, romantic, suspenceful (trust me, it REALLY is) and overall, super kawaii :3 . I rate it five stars.

Tokyo Mew Mew has got to be one of the best shojo mangas I have read. The art is beautiful, along with the character designs. The story plot is fantastic, a little bit like Sailor Moon though. I'm hoping for the next series to be out fast, I'm hooked.

its a great book/manga. o0o0o0 it was fun to read and also challenging because its authentic mango wich meens the hole book is backwords u have to read right to left. i love the book tho i cant wait to find what happens next!!

Wow! Tokyo Mew Mew 1 is so good that I even ordered the second one because it wasnt in stock! And I dont order things! It was so good I even made a site about it! It is so0o0o good and I love it! I am looking forward to getting them all!

You better pick up the third one while your there because you'll wanna know what happens next! This book is fantastic! Words can't describe it!

The series rocks! Once you get the first book it's hard to stop reading them.

The character's are awesome and so cute!And some of the guys are hot and sooo nice. One is especially nice and sooooo sweet!!Seriously,it's to bad he's not real, but you have to keep reading to find out who I'm talking about.
