From the Publisher

Isabella Swan''s move to Forks, a small, perpetually rainy town in Washington, could have been the most boring move she ever made. But once she meets the mysterious and alluring Edward Cullen, Isabella''s life takes a thrilling and terrifying turn. Up until now, Edward has managed to keep his vampire identity a secret in the small community he lives in, but now nobody is safe, especially Isabella, the person Edward holds most dear. The lovers find themselves balanced precariously on the point of a knife-between desire and danger.Deeply romantic and extraordinarily suspenseful, Twilight captures the struggle between defying our instincts and satisfying our desires. This is a love story with bite.

I recommend this book to everyone, even adults. This book was impossible to up down. Stephanie Meyer has created such believable and loveable characters. I can not wait until her next novel comes out because I can not get enough of the characters and drama. This book is highly recommended. If you are to read one book in a lifetime, it should be this one.

The story line intrigued me, but the author just made it too corny. Bella is one-dimensional and the fact that she becomes that obsessed with Edward makes her character more intolerable. I just don’t understand the hype.

    Surprisingly Good! 4

I sort of stayed away from reading the Twilight Saga, up until now. Having recently watched the movie, I decided I was intrigued enough to read the Twilight series. After all the hype surrounding it, I so thought I would be disappointed. But I wasn't! It is truly a great love story, with suspense, intensity and the chemistry between Bella and Edward...boy oh boy!!! Stephenie Meyer is a great storyteller!!!

My wife and I had gone to see the movie before I read the book, and she told me the book was different than the movie, and that I would like the book better. Well she was right. I loved it. This was the first kind of book I have read like this and once I started reading it I could not put it down. I just loved how Stephenie wrote the story through Bella and how it floward right to the end. I am looking forward to start reading New Moon and to see how the story continues. It was a great read for… read more

    Could've made a better edition 3

This review is from: Twilight Collectors Edition (Hardcover)

As a huge fan of Twilight - I thought this was a must have. I drove myself to believe that this would be the most amazing edition of Twilight ever. It probabaly was, but still, it wasn't that great. I've read numerous reviews on here describing the book - not the actual edition itself. As someone who was actually looking into buying this edition, I was a bit disappointed. So Here I am writing a review on the special edition - not the book. If you're looking for a book review - look somewhere… read more

    I treat it like a bible 5

This review is from: Twilight (Mass Market Paperbound)

The story is very descriptive and it is rather elegantly written, especially for a teen novel. Only Stephenie Meyer can deliver such a treat. The author wrote her story under Bella's point of view (first-person) so readers can trully get a feel of all the raw emotions and experiences Bella is faced with. The sequels are just as good, if not better. The 2nd book (New Moon) may be viewed by some as being less satisfying, but that is only true for those supporting Team Edward (Edward Cullen… read more

For months I read reviews about this book in group posts and such and thought to my self but it's for teens it probably isn't any good. Boy was I WRONG!. This book captured me for the first letter until the last! This book the first in a series of 4 is absolutly wonderful. It's about a young woman named Bella who falls in love with Edward a hundred or so year old vampire who finds her good enough to eat!! There is plenty of sexual tension and danger that the pages just keep turning and by the… read more

Twilight by Stephenie Meyer (Book Review) Twilight by Stephenie Meyer is an international bestseller. It is published by Atom and its ISBN is 9781904233657. This is a great teen chic lit romance book. It has achieved international fame and a movie has been produced based on the novel. Bella moves from Phoenix to live with her dad in Fork. I loved this book so much I wanted to purchase it in hardcover and when I saw there was a collectors edition I knew I had to have it. It's beautiful, the torn edges, the red satin bookmark, the cloth cover and the decorative box. I love it and am very glad I spent the extra money to get the special edition.

    NOT WORTH THE RAGE 2

This review is from: Twilight (Trade Paperback)

I read this book in 2005 when it first came out. I really liked it - I read it in about four hours. The second and third ones came out and I liked them too. The Host came out...I didn't much like that. But Breaking Dawn was so stupid it made me rethink the series I had loved. Although I had been a huge fan and had even gotten my books signed by Stephenie Meyer I started to clue into a few details: 1. Stephenie Meyer is not a great writer 2. Edward is scary! Even for a vampire, watching… read more

I LOVED THIS BOOK!! I could not put it down. I was absolutely blown away by the story and how it sucked you into the love and passion between Edward and Bella. It is absolutely amazing. The book & the series itself is full of love, romance, secrets, heartbreak, suspense, action, intrigue, etc. It will make every woman/girls heart swoon. You fall in love with all of the characters. Most of us who have read it took sides on who Bella should be with immediately. This book/series is soo addictive… read more

This book is.. amazing. There's not much more I can say. I was completely riveted. I've read a lot of books, but few were as spellbinding as Twilight. I was barely aware of my surroundings when I was reading it. No matter how much of the book people had already ruined for me, I got lost in the mysteries of it all. If nothing else, Twilight is definitely a page-turner. read more

Twilight was one of the most intriguing and captivating novels I have ever read. As probably one of the more younger readers, I would reccomend this to anyone 12 or older. For those of you who didn't enjoy the book, Twilight was probably my least favourite in the series, so I strongly suggest you read the other books. Breaking Dawn (in my opinion) was the best.

    Mediocre. So freaking mediocre. 1

Crazed teenagers, kids and adults across the globe are gushing about twilight, and recommending it to everyone in sight. But it's not great, it's not even good. It's so excruciatingly mediocre. The only thing pushing readers on, is Edward. And the only reason he's pushing reader's on, is because he is described as 'perfect', and everyone has their own version of him in mind. These fictional characters are living in the real world, are they not? Then explain why everything is so… read more

This review is from: Twilight Collectors Edition (Hardcover)

One star is still too good of a rating for this book... Twilight is the most mediocre book I have ever read. It is a cliche love story, that gives vampires a bad name. Vegetarian? Sparkly? One of the worst "novels" I have ever read. It is so over-glorified, for absolutely no reason. This isn't literature, it's crap. I know I'll get bashed, but this is a review and it's my opinion. I'd prefer it if people didn't bash me, I'm entitled to my own opinion and I just hated this book.

Absolutely amazing... not just because it's really popular, it would still be amazing if no one has even heard of it. The book... well the whole series... is filled with romance, suspense, and secrets.. Bella Swan moves to a tiny town called Forks because she wants to live with her father. She leaves her life in Arizona... but she soon discovers a handsome (more than handsome!!) teen named Edward. Edward grabs her attention, and she soon finds out he;s a vampire... but not the killing, crazed… read more
