From the Publisher

New in the "one of a kind"("Darque Reviews") "New York Times" bestselling series featuring Vampire Queen Betsy Taylor
Betsy Taylor has problems that only a vampire queen/suburban wife could possibly understand. Such as taking the body of her werewolf friend Antonia-who died in her service-to Cape Cod, where she's not sure if the Wyndham werewolves will welcome her with fangs or friendship. Meanwhile, her posse back in St. Paul is sending frantic e-mails alerting Betsy to her half-sister's increasingly erratic behavior. Looks like the devil's daughter is coming into her own-and raising hell.

About the Author

Author MaryJanice Davidson was born in August 1969. She writes primarily paranormal romance, but she has also written young adult literature and non-fiction. She is the author of the Undead series, the Jennifer Scales series, and the Fred the Mermaid series. She won the 2004 Romantic Times Reviewer's Choice Award.

Good for a quick read 3

This book took me MAYBE 5 hours total to read. Very quick and very light read. I found that MJ's writing in this one seemed to cool off - Betsy's potty mouth is tamed down a lot, and the "romance" between her and Sinclair isn't a prominate as it once was. Still a good series but only if you're looking for a quick light read.

well I'm going to start out saying I havnt read this one yet. and actully I havnt read the last one yet. So I'm very dissapointed that the blurb about this book tells a key compontant from the last book. I was looking foreward to getting Undead And Unworthy when it came out in paperback, now I dont know if i will. Its like watching the end of the movie before the start.

    Not Betsy's Best 2

Fans of Betsy, the Vampire Queen, may be somewhat disappointed in the newest installment of this popular series. The author brings us back to the Wyndham Werewolves, uniting them in grief and tragedy with our favorite vampires. Although it is obviously delicate subject matter, MaryJanice Davidson is well known for her wonderfully humourous writing, but this book falls a little flat. Little character development, lightly touching on issues that require more depth and a less than satisfying… read more

    Welcome Addition 4

Undead and Unwelcome is the latest installment to the Betsy the Vampire series. I have to start by saying that I was worried about what this book would be like because of recent comments by Davidson that she was wanting to take the series in a new direction. Well, having just ripped through it in one sitting, I have to say, I was worried for no reason. Betsy is back and she is her self-centred, egotistical, irreverant and wise-cracking self. Whew! What a relief. Betsy, Sinclair, Jessica… read more

    Another Great Betsy Story! 5

Once again Betsy has gotten herself into a mess and has to fix it! Since Antonia took a bullet for her and died, Betsy has to take Antonia's body to her werewolf Pack. The very same Pack that basically drove Antonia out for not being able to change and for having predictions. Never mind BabyJon seems to send some werewolves skittering away and one can't even remember BabyJon exists. And of course there's the ever even-tempered Sinclair, always at Betsy's back.
