    Absolutely loved this book
    This novel kept me guessing the entire way through. Every chapter made me want to read more. Loved the mystery, intrigue and the relationships in this book. Would recommend to anyone looking to escape into a book.

    Fantastic Summer Read
    I have to say, I really enjoyed this debut novel from Sarah Jio. A fantastic "Summer Read" about Emily, a woman who returns to the island of her youth to heal a broken heart, and re-assess her life. Upon her arrival, she discovers a velvet diary and is swept away in the story of Esther and Elliott, who's tragic love story unfolds in 1943. Not only is Emily compelled to solve the mystery of the diary, she begins to see parallels between Esthers life and her own. These are some really wonderfully developed characters, both those of the present and those of the past, and I found myself unable to put this little gem down. If you're looking for a light summer read with a bit of love, loss and a mystery to be solved, then look no further than The Violets of March. I highly recommend it!
