    One Of Many
    by Jessie Wilson

This is the one of many Nora Roberts books I will pick up, I thought the book was great it had a great concept and awesome main characters. I really liked Mac as our main female lead but she was a little annoying at times, I ADORED Carter he was just too cute and a total nerd. I really loved the relationships and friendships in this book they were really great. Overall very good story I look forward to the rest and I am very happy I chose this as my first Nora Roberts. :0)

    Perfect Romance Novel
    by Vilandra313

VISION IN WHITE by Nora Roberts My Thoughts: Now this is a romance novel! VISION IN WHITE is the perfect mix of romance, both sweet and sexy. The characters are amazing. Mac and Carter and the sweetest couple; Carter being an adorable, clumsy, nerdy teacher, while Mac is a successful pulled together, yet relationship shy, wedding photographer. This book flows perfect from Mac's job to her personal life, and both sides are just as entertaining. VISION IN WHITE is both funny and sweet, with a bit of sexy, tender, classy, and warm all thrown in. The friendship of the "quartet" is a nice bonus to this book and I love the interaction between the 4 of them, but this story really makes you want to keep reading to get to the next encounter between Mac and Carter, which is always what you're wanting it to be, and more. This is a real romance novel, pure and wonderful, without any crap. It's what all romance novels should strive to be. A beautifully perfect story with amazing characters that make you want to read more and more. I loved this book, it's definitely a keeper, and I can't wait to read the others in this series. :) Favorite Quotes: "It didn't matter that happy ever after was bull, because it was all pretend anyway." (Page 5) Mac ~ "What are you doing in my studio - or what were you doing here before you concussed yourself over my boobs?" (Page 29) "In the quiet of snowfall, that elemental hush, the sound of her breath sighing out broke in his mind like thunder." (Page 53) Mac ~ "Get your own sexy breakfast story." (Page 81) "Against the black and white of snow and winter trees, the cardinal sat like a living flame." (Page 64) "That's what photographs were for - everything changes, so you can preserve what was. Before tomorrow took it all away." (Page 101) Mac ~ "I should just have sex with him, get it done, and move on." Parker ~ "You're a romantic fool, Mackensie." (Page 146/147) Mac ~ "You fence - like Captain Jack Sparrow?" Carter ~ "If only. I bet you have a thing for Johnny Depp." Mac ~ "I am alive. I am female. Next question." (Page 172) Laurel ~ "Your logic doesn't resemble the logic of humans." (Page 234) Carter ~ "How could I possibly expect or prepare for her to come over and kiss me?" Mac ~ "She kissed you?" Carter ~ "Oh God. I should've bought the shiny thing." (Page 259) Mac ~ "There's that optimism. It's so shiny." (Page 265) Mac ~ "You have such quiet eyes. No one would ever know you're an animal in bed." (Page 268) Mac ~ "What matters is you're the blue butterfly." Carter ~ "I'm...what?" (Page 323) Overall Opinion: A+ http://kaylasbookcase.blogspot.com/

    Not just a romance novel
    by Lorna Nuspl

While Nora Roberts is the queen of romantic fiction, her novels are about more than finding Mr. Right. In Vision in White, Mac, along with her friends, are confident, savvy businesswomen who are in the business of romantic weddings, but need a little romance themselves. As Mac falls for an unlikely beau, as she opens up her heart and her mind, she learns alot about herself and those around her. A great start to a great series!!

Well what can I say? I have always enjoyed Nora Roberts’s books and she has not disappointed me with this one. I love her writing style and how she makes you really get to know the characters. I am waiting very patiently for her next book. One to get for sure.

Love The Cover, Love The Book

A light, enjoyable read that has you smiling and flipping to the next page. Roberts definitely as a way with her writing. I find I pretty much always enjoy her work and her books make for a speedy read. It's not often that I don't read through her book in more then two days. This was no different. Mac is a lovable character who's got a serial marrying Mother that feels the world should center around her. An absentee father who had no qualms with leaving her at a young age. Growing was never stable for Mac, so when it comes to dating she's got more of a boy way of thinking. I absolutely loved Roberts' character Carter. I've got a think for the guys that are a bit awkward and so not perfect. He's not Mr. Manly but he's definitely not Mr. Doormat. Sorta that nice in-between. In fact, he's sorta Adam Brody's Seth off The O.C. but instead of the comic geek he's the classic literature geek. This book definitely falls in the romance Roberts' category rather then the suspense romance. Thankfully (or not depending on your view point) it's not cheesy dialogue and bedroom scenes. More plot, strong characters a nice paced tale.

    boring

I'd like to think of myself as a longtime NR fan but this book was so boring! Sorry Nora! Compared to some of her other books, there was nothing in this one to capture my attention or interest. Everything seemed lacking - the characters were stale and there didn't seem to be any plot line. Hopefully, her new novel "Black Hills" will have some life!

Do you think it's because this was romance not romance/suspense? Normally I don't enjoy her straight romance cause I don't really like straight romance regardless but this one I didn't mind. There seemed more oomph then her previous romance.

Another great read from Nora Roberts. For those that enjoy love stories with happy endings, great mental scenery and interesting story line, this book is for you. A great story about four friends and their journey from childhood to building their wedding business. We got to know Mac in the first of the quartet and I look forward to delving into the lives of the other three.

    Absolutely incredible!!!

It was one of my favourites by Nora Roberts. I loved the the fact that it revolves around the wedding industry! 4 best friends working together, one as a Wedding Planner, one as a Wedding Cake maker, one as a Florist and last, a Photographer. Their friendship is admirable. Loved this book to pieces! I recommend it to everyone who loves Nora Roberts or who just enjoys reading a great story.

totally disappointed with the ending. Found it a waste of my time to read, and i expected a wedding considering that they are wedding planners...stupidest ending ever! I don't recommend it.

Mac gets married in the second novel. Its a series of four books, which is why it's called a Wedding Quartet. Though the novel no longer revolves around Mac as her issue is mostly resolved, from the preview it seems she gets married in it. So no it doesn't suck, it just leaves off hanging so that you can continue into the next book to find out if everything goes the ways we expected.

    A fun read

Vision in White is a straight up contemporary romance without a murder plot or some other nefarious plot device (unless you count Mac's mom LOL). Mac is the kind of heroine I like - she's smart, she's successful, she doesn't need a man and she's confident in her sexuality. And Carter is definitely the kind of hero I like. What can I say, I like those nerdy guys. He's a bit unsure about his woo-ing abilities, he's a bit clumsy, but he's smart and he's a little bit in awe of the Mac he knew in high school. All in all, he's a good guy all the way around and sexy to boot. And another thing? He owns a three-legged cat. Awww! The only conflict here is Mac's fear of commitment. Her mom issues really twist her up inside and that makes her afraid to open up to others. Her friends are there for her and they know that when Mac's mom comes calling what the outcome is going to be. They're pretty good about pulling her out of the black emotional hole. Mac and Carter don't take themselves too seriously and their interactions are made up of witty dialog. Truly enjoyable.

    Disappointing

I usually really enjoy Nora, but this book was not very original, and quite honestly reminded me of a Harlequin Romance... just more expensive. I thought she was a bit beyond that stage. I expected more!

I love any Nora Roberts series and this was no exception. Yes, it is similar to some of her other books but that's why I read them. If you like one you will like them all. I love her stories and can't wait for the rest of the series.

I wasn't to impressed with this book and with the increased cost for the fancy cover I would suggest waiting till it comes to the library. The story was pretty boring and although I liked the premise and also the male lead the female (Mac) was not my favorite person, yes she had some problems but she treated the guy like a jerk sometimes and never really said she was sorry. I will read the other books in this series but am hoping the characters are little more likeable.
