About the Author

John Bell was born Montreal, grew up in Halifax, and now lives in Ottawa. Active as an editor and writer in the fields of Canadian popular culture and Atlantic-Canadian SF and fantasy, co-edited the anthology ''Visions from the Edge'' (1981), and co-authored the first survey of Canadian comic book, Canuck Comics (1986). Lesley Choyce was born in New Jersey in 1951 but moved to Canada and became a citizen when he was a young man. He teaches part-time at Dalhousie University, runs Pottersfield Press and has over 20 books in print.
