Wake

by Lisa McMann

Simon Pulse | December 23, 2008 | Trade Paperback

Not all dreams are sweet.

For seventeen-year-old Janie, getting sucked into other people''s dreams is getting old. Especially the falling dreams, the naked-but-nobody- notices dreams, and the sex-crazed dreams. Janie''s seen enough fantasy booty to last her a lifetime.

TERRIBLE

ya_2000

Quite possibly the worst book written by all of humanity.

Why is it written in 3rd person, present tense? Does the author wish to make her seemingly "young adult" novel sounds like a children's storybook?

The plot fell flat; the characters fell flat; the novel, therefore, also (you guessed it!) fell flat.

Don't waste your money on this book. Trust me.
