Watching the English has provided hours of hilarity for my husband and me. In her book about the English, Kate Fox, anthropologist and self-proclaimed nosey-parker, has presented one perceptive observation after another, all delivered with the best dry English humour. If you have English in your background, you’ll laugh to find yourself so thoroughly found-out. If you don’t, here’s the key to understanding this peculiar people! Buy or borrow this book as soon as you can. I already have friends ‘queuing up’ for my copy!

Excellent book to read prior to going to UK especially those who
immigrated from UK many years ago. I have been here in Canada
nearly 38 years but how England has changed over those years.
Should be required reading for any non Anglo Saxon. It taught me a lot
about my own culture. The english have been always able to laugh at
themselves and this book is a good example. Fulll of interesting titbits.
