As the president of a company devoted to providing seminars and workshops to employees who are nearing retirement, I cannot praise this book enough!

All too often the retirement experience turns out to be different from what we initially anticipated it to be. In North American society, we have been led to believe that a happy retirement is all about the accumulation of a big nest egg. The bigger the egg, the happier the retirement!

I will agree that although money is no guarantee for a happy retirement, it is a good place to start.

But money is not the "only" requirement "for" a happy retirement.

A happy retirement also requires that we ask ourselves, "WHAT'S NEXT?" long before we exit the workforce.

Nelson will act as your personal guide on your journey from work to retirement. He will provide you with a detailed description of what makes for a happy and meaningful retirement. And like anything in life- you need to customize the recipe to best suit your taste!

Since having read Nelsons' book, I have incorporated many of the suggested exercises into my own seminars and workshops on the emotional issues that surround the retirement experience.

This book is a brilliant, humorous and a much needed guide to retirement planning.

It is a must read for anyone contemplating their exit from the workforce!
