    Awesome Book

I have a 7 year old daughter who has been stuggling with anxiety for a couple of months now. This book has truly made an incredible difference in our life! It is written for children to help them understand what it is they are feeling, and gives them tones of tips to work through these feelings. Also gives parents the tools they need to help their children. I wish I would have had this book when I was a child. My daughters grade one teacher read this book with the whole class and the school counsellor has ordered it for a school resource. My daughter carries this book in her school bag EVERY day and will actually take it out and read it when she needs too! Awesome Book!!

My son just turned 11 and has some anxiety. I wanted to address the anxiety before it gets too big. So, I bought this book and am very happy I did. It is written for a much younger child, but he has also enjoyed it. Last night when going to bed, he was upset about something and he himself said "I am going to think about what they said in the book, so I stop worrying" and then we talked about the tomato plant (you will understand when you read it).

I am aparent of only 1 child who is 8 years old, he has severe anxiety for the past 2 years - this book (along with the parents guide: KEYS TO PARENTING YOUR ANXIOUS CHILD) really helped. It's in terms that make sense to children, gives great ideas on how to help your child cope. This book was especially helpful to me and my son during the 'waiting period' for a child psychiatrist. This book will definately be read over and over again to refresh the ideas because as any parent with an anxious child knows, what works or helps today may not tomorrow or next month. I give this book a 5/5!
