That this wasn't a book trying to give advice but rather, offered
an interesting collection of real people's lives was fantastic. It
made me inspect my own life and I gleaned a couple of person to
do's out of it. The writing style however, made retention
difficult. I found myself constantly rereading pieces to remind
myself what the point of that chapter was. If you truly want to get
something out of it, I'd sit down with a pen & paper to jot
down notes as you go along. This is the first Bronson book I've
read, so I'm not familiar with his writing style. If the style in
which this book was written was designed to make you reread to
reflect, then it's rather clever. Otherwise, just be prepared.
