Whats A Ghoul To Do: A Ghost Hunter Mystery

What's a Ghoul to Do? is the first book in the Ghost Hunter mysteries and sees M.J. Holliday and partner Gilly ghostbusting the lodge of Dr. Steven Sable. The mystery isn't too deep (nor are the characters) but its all lighthearted fun and a decent read. My only complaint is Dr. Steven Sable and his annoying speech patterns - funny at first, grating when it happens every page. Looking forward to the next one

M.J. Holliday is a physic. Her and her partner Gilley run a ghost busting business. M.J. works to bring these troubled ghosts over to the other side. If the ghost is unwilling for dangerous, she has her way of dealing with them too.

M.J. and Gilley take on a client Dr. Steven Sable who wants there help, but is not 100% sure that they are not scam artists. Steven saw his late grandfather when he went to the visit his grandfathers home. Steven's grandfather supposedly committed suicide, but Steven does not believe it. M.J. does not take well to this and the fact that Steven wants to watch everything they do, so she declines the offer.

After M.J. and Steven end up on a blind date, they work out their differences enough to work on this case.

On the way to their destination, M.J. sees the same car tailing them. Once they are all at the house TV's start turning off and on, and another ghost in residence pushes Gilley down the starts. With people now getting hurt, M.J. is more determined than ever to get to the bottom of things and help these troubled ghosts out.

M.J. and Steven seem to have real chemistry, but M.J. makes sure that it is business before pleasure. It is for the best. When M.J. sees Steven (the to good for words doctor) leaving another women's house early in the morning. Seems that everyone has something to hide. Further that car that was following them still lurking around town.

Steven's father also seems to have some interest in the property. Steven inherited it, but his father has other plans for the estate.

This is a great start to a paranormal/mystery series. Lots of laughs intrigue, and sometimes it is a little creepy. A quick easy read, but well worth it! Since this is only the beginning. I believe this will be a great series. So many fun characters

We get introduced to M.J. Holliday and her business partner/ side kick Gilly Gillespie in this first installment of the Psychic Eye series. M.J. is a sensitive who can sense and speak to ghosts and send them over to the otherside helping them move on. Or if they are bad spirits she traps them Ghost busters style.
When she gets hired to do a huge ghost busting job out in the country she gets pulled into a bigger mystery, and has a hard time staying away from her hot client. The universe seems to conspire against her self-control.
High tension and a great murky mystery. Although you have a good idea who is behind most of the badness, proving it is even more difficult for our hero's.
Looking forward to the rest of the series!
