Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fabulous! I received this cookbook as a gift and love it so much that I have bought copies for many of my friends. There are lots of excellent salad dressings (and salads) in here, hearty soups and all sorts of really tasty other stuff. I love to cook and I use this book all the time! The vegetarian recipes actually taste great and look fab as well - not always the case, I find.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Yummy recipes, but no index :( I absolutely love this cookbook. It deserves 5 stars, however, it has no index which I find totally annoying so I gave it 3 stars. I thought for sure when they released the next cookbook (Whitewater Cooks at Home), they would have included an index, but no such luck. Very disappointing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome and impressive recipes!! This cookbook is SO good, I use it all the time, the pages are already covered in ingredients!! The cookbook has lots of healthy and vegetarian recipes, (but also lots of great meat dishes) and different flavours that I wouldn't have been able to think up myself. All of the ingredients I've been able to find in the local grocery store (although some are harder to find than others). Anyway, it makes a great gift for the aspiring cook.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I LOVE THIS COOKBOOK Amazingly good recipes using fresh healthy ingredients...my only word of caution is to look for the number of servings the recipe makes because it is often for a large number of people. I am usually cooking for just my husband and I so I'll often half the recipe and will still have enough for leftovers for lunch or dinner. This is one of my most favourite cook books!! Everything in it is delicious and simple to make!

About the Author

Shelley Adams, who attended the famous École de Cuisine La Varenne in Paris, spent 15 years as a caterer to the film industry. She and her family are owners of the Whitewater Resort in the Canadian Rockies where, for the past decade, she has been the creative director and manager of the Fresh Tracks Café.
