Buy it, read it, pass it on to your girlfriends, your sisters, nieces, daughters and mothers. It's that good.

A wonderful book! I recommend it to all single ladies out there. It really points out some of the common mistakes that women make and how to fix them. It isn't a book so much about changing yourself entirely, but more about remembering to put yourself first.

The book's basically a census of male attitudes towards common female behaviours. By laying out the dos and don'ts of what men find attractive, she demystifies common relationship folk-wisdom -- and it's not appearance or culinary skills or anything else that marketers sell to push products :p

If you are a heterosexual women (single, attached, or married) this book will save you a lot of unnecessary grief.

The book, in a nutshell = find a hobby, develop a skill, have a job, see friends just as much(if not more than you're guy), and devote a third less time to him than he wants.


The book could have easily just been titled, Why Men Love Self-Involved Women.

After reading this book, I realized that I was doing everything wrong. This book provides a lot of insight into how a man thinks. I can honestly say that I have GREATLY benefited from this book. I feel much more confident about myself and am alot less "needy". This book is tailored more to the single girl but the advice given is good to know for us girls in a relationship too. This book is not only informative, but it is hilarious! I really enjoyed reading this book. Now I'm onto the next book, "Why Men Marry Bitches".

This was a great book for single people but for those of us that are married, I didn't gain much insight.

It will change your life. You can apply the principles of the book to all aspects of your life. If you feel like a doormat at work, with your family, in your friendships, or with men, then definitely read this book. I've lent it to several friends and we refer to WMLB all the time. I can't say enough good things about it.

This is a great book ... if you're JUST meeting a man... but for someone like myself, who has been in a relationship for quite some time now, it wasnt as helpful as i had expected simply becuase it discussed issues that only occur at the begining of dating. Why men marry bitches will be more helpful to any woman looking to improve the state of her LONG TERM relationship

I have read this book many times and it never ceases to amaze me how many of us are doormats (including me sometimes). I have purchased copies for all of my girlfriends who are also stuck in the doormat situation and have watched them evolve into beautiful BITCHES. This book is easy to follow and a great read. I am not one for self-help books in particular, however this one, is absolutely fantastic -- it's really not even a self-help book -- it's just a fun book to read, which has truly authentic insights. Sherry Argov has a very honest, simple and humorous writing style -- I've re-read this book a couple times now. Not only that, but her research and her advice is highly sound -- she gives advice and has the goods to back it up. If you've ever been in a relationship and the guy has held all the cards (not in a game playing sense, but in all honesty), you need to read this book. It will help you to see that you can hold your own in a relationship, be independent and come out with a happier and healthier relationship for it. Worth every penny!
