Funny and cute.

Kazusa Takashima has this quality about her that sets her apart from most manga-ka published in North America nowadays. And that quality is originality. She draws manga in such a beautiful style, that one is automatically pulled in, and then once there, realizes what an odd, touching, and completely different story it is. All of her manga is fantastic, and Wild Rock particularly, stands out as one of the best. Not just in her own collection, but in Boy's Love manga as a whole.
Great

Wild Rock by Kazusa Takashima is a yaoi manga, full of romance. The story is interesting, the ending is great, and even though the cover art is not so great, the drawings inside are much better. Wild Rock takes place in the prehistoric era and is aimed for an older audience. Emba and Yuuen are two different heirs to two different warring clans. The clan that Yuuen is a part of is having difficulty hunting, so Yuuen is sent to ask Emba for help. After meeting a couple of times, Yuuen sees how sensitive Emba really is and finds himself feeling differently about Emba. There is also a chapter about Yuuen's father and Emba's father, when they were younger, which is fairly interesting. I highly recommend everyone to try reading this very cute romance story.
Impressive!

I was seriously impressed when I read this manga, and I had high expectations for it to begin with. It took me a long time to hunt it down, but it was worth all the effort. The pre-historic setting is very original, so the change of scenery was rather nice and they pulled it off well. The art, characters, and plot obviously had a ton of effort poured into them; and it shows. I preach this manga every chance I get; so take my word and give it a shot and it might become one of your favorites too.
