Meet the D''Artigo sisters: half-human, half-faerie, they''re savvy-and sexy-operatives for the Otherworld Intelligence Agency. But their mixed-blood heritage short-circuits their talents at all the wrong times. Delilah shapeshifts into a tabby cat whenever she''s stressed. Menolly''s a vampire who''s still trying to get the hang of being undead. And Camille is a wicked-good witch, except her magic''s as unpredictable as the weather, as her enemies are about to find out-the hard way.

This is one of the series that I read everything for. It's got a thick plot that can a little difficult to understand if your not familiar to the series There is alot of sction, and some VERY hot steamy sex. I will say this for the author, she really pushes the limit in this sex stuff. Its extremely erotic and hot.

I was so surprised to like this book. I bought this book when it first came out becasue i had read her mystery series. I picked it up, read a few pages, didnt like it put it down, and repeated this cycle for the past couple of years. I finally picked it up again, and read through it discovering that i actually enjoyed the book. So much in fact that i have picked up the next two books. the writing does come off as a bit crass and un polished but i think its a reflection of the character Galenorn is writing about. I liked the sotry, like the idea that was presented on the Fae side. There are so many types out there right now.

I loved Camille. I love that she is head strong, can take care of her own and has little fear. A powerful woman is something that can be hard to find sometimes in the romance genre.

The story follows three sisters as they attempt to stop a demon from overthrowing Otherworld, and Earth. There are battles, both large and small, vampires, weres, dragon and all other kinds of demons and fantasy creatures.

Looking forward to the rest of the series.

A Witch of a Good Time

    Stephanie Bakker

The D'Artigo sisters are half-human and half-Faerie and each has their own little eccentricities. Camille is a witch whose spells go bad as often as the go good. Delilah is a shapeshifter who changes into a housecat - not a jungle cat. And Menolly has been turned into a vampire. Together they work for the Otherworld Intelligence Agency and have been posted to Earth to protect the humans.

The posting has been pretty cushy and the sisters suspect they were placed in the human realm so they would be out of the way. And then all hell breaks loose - literally. Camille, Delilah and Menolly must save Earth and Otherworld from demons that have broken through from the Subterranean Realms. Will the D'Artigo sisters be able to save the day or will their 'special' powers only get in the way?

Witchling is a fun story with just the right amount of action, comedy and romance. Yasmine Galenorn has brought together an effective and amusing cast of characters that enhance her story and leave the reader waiting for more. As the first book in the Sisters of the Moon series, Witchling sets a promising tone for the stories to come

After reading many rave reviews, I was surprised that I couldn't even get past the first 50 pages! I found the writing obnoxious and crass. A bit harsh? Definitely, which reflects my complete disappointment.

I agree this was not the best book I've read. I have about 50 pages left. It is some what enjoyable, but I won't be buying the rest of the series thats for sure.
