Rated 5 out of 5 by from A fantastic story to teach kids about breathing and meditation! I started reading this book with my son when he was just 5-years-old. It was very helpful to him, and made learning relaxation skills very natural and easy. I have since gone on to use it in individual therapy with children with ADHD, anxiety and other mental health issues where learning emotional regulation and stress management are imperative. I have found it to be incredibly useful for all of the children I have tried it with, who vary in maturity, learning ability and temperament. I highly recommend it for any child, as these skills have been shown to be highly beneficial for all children. Lori Lite has more books and some wonderful CDs available on her website (stressfreekids.com), as well. The Indigo Dreams and Indigo Ocean Dreams have been especially popular.
