Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great and very informative! Karen Chandler did a great job in the layout of her book. Everything is divided into sections and subsections,making it much easier to find a specific bit of information without having to look through the entire book. She has also included a summary,key terms, activities, recommended readings and weblinks at the end of many of the chapters. This book can be used as a great resource tool to Early Childhood Educators, or parents looking to get their child involved in early learning.

About the Author

Karen Chandlercurrently holds a full-time faculty position at George Brown College. She completed undergraduate work at Ryerson and Canadore College, and graduate work in Assessment and Counselling at the University of Toronto. Karen also has experience working with children, families, and professionals in early childhood, recreation, education, and mental health environments. She demonstrates leadership at the national, provincial and local levels with professional organizations, research and social policy development.
