Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nothing is what it seems! It doesn't take long before being immersed in this booking, soaking in the characters that are well developed in a short time. The story unfolds so smoothly, giving away very little - you almost want to read it again to see what you missed! Patterson's is definitely on my reading list now...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cat and Mouse It was nice to visit again with Alex Cross, his children, his grandmother and his partner Sampson on the trail again of Gary Soneji. Cat & Mouse had a lot of twists and turns. Along with Alex and Gary, we were also introduced to Tom Pierce and Mr. Smith. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and look forward to the next Alex Cross adventure.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cat and Mouse Well! I finished reading this and could have thrown the book across the room or at the author himself if he would have been anywhere near. He probably would have just laughed at me and said "gotcha". I love his books; they are a fast read and most of them are page-turners, with short chapters that help with the suspense. I have read nearly everything he's written and have recommended them to customers. This book will be no exception, but I'm still frustrated with him because of the unsettling ending.
