Rated 3 out of 5 by from Teenager's Soul This Chicken Soup book consists of short stories and poems about everything in a teen's life: friends, parents, school, gossip and how to balance everything. The stories and poems are emotional and inspirational, and some are even motivating. If you're a teen (especially a female), this is a must read. You can completely relate to these stories and poems.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Chicken soup F.T.T.S. I thought this book was very touching and some poems were sad even. The Book teaches a good lesson for Teens. Like Don't Drink and Drive (You are endangering the lives of others), Dont do Drugs, and also do not get into peer pressure. This book was great and it taught a good lesson for those in need of one. The poems and stories tell why you should not do all these terrible things, some of them are even life threatening! That is kind of sad i guess. Well Cya!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from mmm good soup I thought that this book was very touching. It is above my reading level, because I am only eleven. I learned from the stories and each one moved me in a different way. Some stories made me laugh some made me cry. I reccomend this book to people with a high understanding of life. This book would satisfy teenage girls reading taste more than it would to boys. I think that either gender could enjoy it thoroughly though. It was quite a satisfiying bowl of chicken soup.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Chicken Soup cure. When I first read Chicken Soup for the Teenage soul, I was touched deeply by the stories of love and tough stuff. I couldn't take my eye's off of the book, as if the book was the only way I could live. but really, It wasn't really my life that depended on it, it was my knowledge and wisdom that depended on it. This book taught me alot of very important lessons about life. It helped me feel better about myself, and that others who read this will also know what it really means to be 'touched by an angel' in a mind over matter sort of way.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from An Emotional Read My aunt and uncle sent me this book for my 13th birthday. For the first few days I had it, I admit I ignored it. I was too busy with my new Sea-Doo and swimming in the new pool my parents gave us, (my twin and I) to sit down and read it. After a week, my Mum was cleaning my room and found the book and asked me if I had read it yet. I said no and she told me that she would appreciate it if I would read it today. So I did. I was so surprised! I could not stop reading it. Each and every story touched me in some way. A wonderful book for any teen to read.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Saving My Soul Falling, and no way to get out. This was the way I felt, just a year ago. I was in a dark, cold place, all alone. I was thriteen, and unable to see what was going on right infront of me. I was the girl with dreams for the future, and voted most likely to suceed, and best attitude, grades, and nothing that made someone a good person. I just started to slip, and kept on falling! no one lended a hand, partly because no one know whta, to say to someone that wouldn't listen. I feel in drus, and tried to kill myself more than I can remember, everything was going wrong. Luckily,my Mom bought me this book, and I rebuilt something inside of me that had died, I decided I was worth something, and there are things to live for. This book saved my life, and I think every teenager should read it, to know that they're not alone, and realize they're O.K!!

Read from the Book

I Love You, Dad If God can work through me, he can work through anyone. —St. Francis of Assisi I met a man who came to Tampa for his father''s funeral. Father and son hadn''t seen each other in years. In fact, according to the son, his father had left when he was a boy, and they had had little contact until about a year ago, when his father had sent him a birthday card with a note saying he''d like to see his son again. After discussing a trip to Florida with his wife and children and consulting his busy schedule at his office, the son tentatively set a date to visit his father two months later. He would drive his family down when school was out for vacation. He scribbled a note and with mixed emotions, dropped it in the mail. He heard back immediately. Written on lined paper torn from a spiral notebook, such as a schoolboy would use, were words of excitement penned in a barely legible scrawl. Misspelled words, poor grammar and incorrect punctuation bounced off the page. The man was embarrassed for his father. He thought twice about the upcoming visit. It just so happened that the man''s daughter made the cheerleading squad at her school and had to go to a camp conducted for cheering techniques. Coincidentally, it started the week after school was out. The trip to Florida would have to be postponed. His father said he understood, but the son didn''t hear from him again for some time. A note here or there, an occasional call. They didn''t say much—muttered sentences, c
