The Virals are put to the ultimate test when they find a geocache containing an ornate puzzle box. Shelton decodes the cipher inside, only to find more tantalizing clues left by "The Gamemaster." A second, greater geocache is within reach--if the Virals are up to the challenge.

But the hunt takes a dark turn when Tory locates the other box--a fake bomb, along with a sinister proposal from The Gamemaster. Now, the real game has begun: another bomb is out there--a real one--and the clock is ticking.

Reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Pack IS Back! (Possible Spoiler) I absolutely loved this book! The whole series is amazing and I highly recommend it! In this book, I loved how the story unfolds throughout the entire book, yet there is action straight away. The HUGE plot twist at the end had me crying and then there is also another small plot twist (I personally saw it coming), but the ending was definitely cliff-hanger.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Inventive and Entertaining The newest Virals novel, 'Code', is the best of the series to date. The story revolves around the exploits of the viral pack - Tory, her wolf dog Coop, Ben, Shelton, and Hiram as they unravel clues to a sinister test of wits that a serial killer called the Gamemaster has devised. Using their viral senses and ingenuity, they have to unlock the mystery of several hidden ciphers before a ticking bomb goes off that could kill hundreds of people. It's a riveting and entertaining story with four likeable teens with highly developed instincts and the use of modern technology who have to solve the mystery before a hurricane rips across Charleston. Even the ending has an unexpected twist that leaves the reader wondering what more could happen to the pack. I loved this book and highly recommend it
