Reviews

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Wasn't Bad Connelly is one of my favourate authors. I thought it would be good to read Crime Beat to get an insight into the authors way of thinking, and yes it does this. But I didn't like the repetitive nature of many of the cases whereby the journal articles repeat a lot of the text of previous articles on the same case. I think it would have been more interesting to the reader if Connelly combined the journal articles into a "short narrative" instead. I really think it would have had more market appeal. A good read for an avid Connelly fan, however, skim the repetition.
