Destined is rated 3 out of 5 by 5.

Zoey is finally home where she belongs, safe with her Guardian Warrior, Stark, by her side, and preparing to face off against Neferet – which would be a whole lot easier if the High Counsel saw the ex-High Priestess for what she really is. Kalona has released his hold on Rephaim, and, through Nyx''s gift of a human form, Rephaim and Stevie Rae are finally able to be together – if he can truly walk the path of the Goddess and stay free of his father''s shadow…

But there are new forces at work at the House of Night. An influx of humans, including Lenobia’s handsome horse whisperer, threatens their precarious stability. And then there’s the mysterious Aurox, a jaw-droppingly gorgeous teen boy who is actually more – or possibly less – than human. Only Neferet knows he was created to be her greatest weapon. But Zoey can sense the part of his soul that remains human, the compassion that wars with his Dark calling. And there’s something strangely familiar about him…

Will Neferet’s true nature be revealed before she succeeds in silencing them all? And will Zoey be able to touch Aurox’s humanity in time to protect him – and everyone – from his own fate? Find out what’s destined in the next thrilling chapter of the House of Night series.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Okay Read this book was an okay read but it was kinda boring in the beginning. I felt like the other books were better compared to this one and i found that this book was kinda boring at some points. I totally wish that this book would have been a lot more interesting from the beginning but in the end it did make up for the lack of my attention...now just wishing for the next one to come out. Kinda tired of having to wait and buy new books when will it end...although i don't want it to end :'(

Rated 3 out of 5 by from 3.5 stars A Bit On The Fence So I'm a huge fan of thr House Of Night series and I'm also an avid reader but for this one I'm a bit on the fence and so that dissapoints me a bit. Overall I still thought this book was good but I think they tried to pull to many POV and storylines together. I really liked everything that Zoey did and I'm sill a fan of Kalona. Again this was not one of my favs from the series but it was still good. :0)

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Thing Are Getting Better! First, I would like to start off by saying how incredibly and absolutely annoying it is that EVERY PERSON INVOLVED IN THE MAIN STORY LINE IS ALWAYS SO INCREDIBLY HOT OR BEAUTIFUL. God. But other than that I actually found this book to be much better than the last. The story line is definitely coming to a close soon! But no too soon, because there's going to be yet ANOTHER HON book! But surprisingly, that doesn't bother me this time. The ending of this book was much more intense than the last, although the beginning was kind of slow to start. Honestly, although in my review of Awakening I said the writing annoyed me, I think it's the only thing that kept me reading, really. I know I said I'd finish this series because I said I always "finish what I start" but that's not true! I read the first book in the Inheritance Cycle, and do I plan on finishing? That would be a definite no. Overallllll. This series is definitely improving. It's becoming more intense emotionally as well as picking up speed as you get further into the book. If you happen to see it at Costco, I would definitely pick it up! Otherwise, I would just wait for it to come out in paperback.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Readig Awakened I read the entire series thinking that Awakened would be the last book and I was so happy. This series has dragged on for my entire life. They are just milking it. I will write a real review, after I finish this book.. which I will reluctantly probably buy since I just want to know the ending. Is that so much to ask for? There is only so much Zoey and Stevie Rae I can handle! lol

DESTINED. (Chapter 1) Aurox The human male’s flesh had been soft, pulpy. It had been a surprise how easy it had been to destroy him—to end the beating of his feeble heart . “Take me to North Tulsa. I want to go out into the night,” she’d said. That was the command that began their evening. “Yes, Goddess,” he’d responded instantly, coming alive from the corner of the rooftop balcony that he’d made his own. “Do not call me Goddess. Call me…” She’d looked contemplative. “… Priestess.” Her full lips, slick and reddened, turned up. “I believe it is best if everyone should simply call me Priestess—at least for a short while.” Aurox had fisted his hand over his heart in a gesture he instinctively knew was ancient, though it somehow felt awkward and forced. “Yes, Priestess.” Priestess had brushed by him, gesturing imperiously for him to follow her. He had followed. He’d been created to follow. To take her orders. To obey her commands. They’d entered something Priestess had called car, and the world had flown. Priestess had commanded him to understand the workings of it. He’d watched and learned, just as she’d commanded. Then they’d stopped and exited the car. The street had smelled of death and rot, corruption and filth. “Priestess this place is not—” “Protect me!” she’d snapped. “But do n
