Rated 4 out of 5 by from Dr Suuss\s Abc An Amazing Alphabet Book I bought this book for my great grand daughter fo Christmas to start her library

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderfully Cute! I bought this book for my son recently and not only does he giggle when I read it, but I've completely enjoyed this book too. The illustrations, characters, and rhyming of this board book are creative and so wonderfully Dr. Seuss! I would definitely recommend this book!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Big Disappointment in a Small Book Other than the colorful characters that are so classically Dr. Seuss, I would never guess this was a book written by said author. It was disappointing in both the rhymes and the story. It was not a favorite of my child's.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointing version of the classic The hardcover original version of the ABC book is much better. In this board book version, many of the rhymes are omitted or changed, and they just don't sound like Dr Seuss!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not as good as the original! Beware. If you want the magic of Dr Seuss's original ABC book, buy the full-sized version. In this board book version, the rhyme has been condensed and changed, and not for the better. It's repetitive, boring, and lacks a lot of the fun language and rhythm of the original. Don't waste your money on the board book--buy the full-sized full-text version.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Memory Tool I just have to say that this books has been great for my 5 year old to remember her letters and the sound that each makes. She refers to the book often when determining which letter she needs to begin or end a word. It also helps that this book has always been one of her favourites.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful for babies My nine month old loves hearing the rhymes in this book. She dances whenever I read it to her, she thinks it's a song. She even picks it up and hands it to me to read to her!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Suess books are still my favourite, and my toddlers too! Creative, off-the-wall fun way for your child to learn her/his ABC's

Rated 2 out of 5 by from allright - unimaginative descriptions The overall idea behind the book is fun and it starts out well but the alliterations get pretty weak. We end up just making up our own.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointing I have the original book published in 1967, and my two year old daughter loves it......however, it was getting a little bit dog-eared, so I thought I'd order the board book so we could keep enjoying it. I was disappointed to see that the new board book was different from the original story.......the whole book was pared down, and in my opinion, it lost a lot of the magic that Dr. Seuss brings to his books. The original was much more entertaining, with a lot of tongue-twisting, fun rhymes. This new version, frankly, is boring. I still use the board book, but I read the text of the original version; we've read it so often, I know it by heart, and just reciting some of the rhymes without the book to look at makes my daughter smile. It's such a shame that this generation of little ones will have only the *tidied up* version of this great story to read.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good giggle ! I bought this book for my two toddlers along with a couple of others in the collection, and I loved it ! A really catchy way of making the letters stick, it gives me a good giggle which gets my two interested. Dr Seuss uses different word associations for each letter, making up a fair few on the way. Great fun !

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Educational and Amusing Little ones love the zany animals and their antics. How wonderful that they also learn the alphabet while they are being entertained.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Seuss is a funny Goose! We have always enjoyed reading Dr. Suess books, they let you be funny and silly with your children! The words are so silly, how can you not laugh when reading them? The illustrations are so much fun to giggle at also, I highly recommend any of his books.
