2 of 5 in the series
Entwined with You is rated 4 out of 5 by 13.
The worldwide phenomenon continues as Eva and Gideon face the demons of their pasts and accept the consequences of their obsessive desires…

From the moment I first met Gideon Cross, I recognized something in him that I needed. Something I couldn’t resist. I also saw the dangerous and damaged soul inside—so much like my own. I was drawn to it. I needed him as surely as I needed my heart to beat.

No one knows how much he risked for me. How much I’d been threatened, or just how dark and desperate the shadow of our pasts would become.

Entwined by our secrets, we tried to defy the odds. We made our own rules and surrendered completely to the exquisite power of possession…

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Could not put it down I read it in two days. I could not put it down. The characters and story line had me so intrigued. I did not want this book, or the series to end, and Im glad it hasn't. I enjoy the style of writing. Great book! ensure to read Bared to You and Reflected in You.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect ! The third book of the Crossfire series is perfect. It is a perfect continuity to the story. Once again they have a magical, rocky and intense relationship which makes you crave for more and need to know what will happen next. Sylvia Day once again got me hooked from the beginning of the book to the end. Gideon & Eva's relationship is so great, there is no possession of Eva which makes me enjoy this book to the fullest, she has an attitude, she has a say into what she wants to do and what she does not want to do. The surprises that happen and the development of the characters is really worth the read if you have read the other books. I am glad I got to learn more about the characters and that I feel some sort of attachment to them. The storyline is great and there is actually something going on other then sex, don't get me wrong the sex is wonderful but it feels great to actually have a story and something to help us relate to the characters. I love love this series and I recommend it to anyone that loves romance and erotica.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than 50!!! I really enjoyed all the books...better storyline than 50 & just the fact that there was respect of a woman & not possession of a woman was great....yes, there was some possession but not to the extreme as 50....this should also become a movie & I can't wait for the next book/s in this series....loved the interrelationships with the other characters.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from More Solid The third book in the Crossfire series was really good, I think this is the most solid out of all three books even though it still had that annoying repetitive motion to it. I enjoyed the storyline and I thought the characters have come a long way. Now for the big kicker, I am a little mad there is going to be more books in the series, she really could have ended it at this one and I think she is just dragging it out now. Overall and enjoyable read. :0)

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Lots of naughty stuff, not much plot The Good Stuff This author has a true gift for writing erotic scenes Impressed with the emphasis on therapy for their troubles. They keep making mistakes, but they talk them through and work at it everyday - very refreshing Nice addition of some lighter moments between Eva and Gideon and scenes with them spending time together without mind blowing, tear inducing naughty stuff Monica is such a despicable mother, she makes me feel like I am the best mom in the world Enjoyed the fleshing out of the characters background stories The Not So Good Stuff I can't help it but when I got to the end I was like wtf - I thought this was only going to be a trilogy. I know it's my fault for not knowing but I just wanted a conclusion. I actually threw down the book I was so frustrated - hmm note to self, must get out more Also even-though the s** scenes are seriously steamy, there were way too many of them, I like a little more plot with my naughty stuff Worried about poor Cary - he obviously needs help and Eva needs to more of a friend to him, especially since he is always there for her Favorite Quotes/Passages "Shut up." I slid off him and smacked his shoulder. "We are totally dysfunctional." "I prefer 'selectively deviant.' But we'll keep that to ourselves." "And I really want you to stop hurting yourself over what was done to you. You were raped. You were a victim and now you're a survivor. There's no shame in that." "You and me, we're both guilty of tiptoeing around Mom-Oh no, don't upset Monica!-because we'd rather just give in than deal with her meltdowns. But that's emotional extortion, Richard, and I'm done paying out." Who Should/Shouldn't Read If you read and loved the first two books most likely you will eat this up Need some inspiration for the bedroom - this could be very helpful If you want something fast paced, this probably isn't your thing Need some new fantasies or feeling unsexy - definitely some ideas here Great beach read or if you just finished a sombre book, this is a nice change of pace 3.75 Dewey's I received this from Penguin UK in exchange for an honest review

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not over yet ... This was a decent read, definitely steamy, and it took great strides to separate itself from the 50 Shades plotline that the first book patterned a little too closely. Control and possessiveness continue to be the focus, but the story is less of an emotional rollercoaster than previous installments. I thought this book would be the end of the series, but we ultimately learn that the Crossfire series will continue. While I was ready for the series to be over, this book ended with alot of loose ends and so I'm looking forward to the sequel.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome!!! well after reading soo many mix review of this book cuz people didn't really like and some people love it ...me im in between cuz i did like it and it kept you hanging for the next book to come out so i did enjoy it and i read it in 2 days i didn't want to stop reading it .

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not what I was hoping for :( As some of the others have said this book was a little disappointing especially given the release date was delayed by 2 months. I found it to be quiet slow, I think it was only a period of 2 weeks in the lives of Eva and Gideon that passed in this book. Don't get me wrong, it opened up some good story lines to come and I did enjoy parts of it and I can't wait to read the next one, I just wish it had have been a little less slow. Hopefully we don't have to wait too long for the next one and the pace picks up a little and is more in line with the first two books.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from a little disappointing I enjoyed the first two books but found this one very slow. Not much happened. I thought that this was the final book in this series... it's not. I like Gideon and Eva, and I will read the next book, since I have to find out what happens, but I thought their story could have been wrapped up in this book.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Can't wait to keep reading... I loved this newest edition in the Gideon & Eva saga! They continue to fight for each other and their love grows stronger. Many new plot lines are introduced that will be dealt with in the next 2 novels in the series. I can't wait to read them! :-)

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointing! Nowhere near as good as Book 1 or 2. Not worth the wait or the money. I agree with KD - should have stuck to trilogy for the sake of the reader and the story not the bank book.
Date published: 2013-06-09
Rated out of 5 by from Well wasn't the best one......not enough suspense and really quite dull at points! I think Sylvia Day should of stuck to the trilogy and forget the 'as many book as I can write' mentality. KD

Read from the Book

Chapter 1 New York cabbies were a unique breed. Fearless to a fault, they sped and swerved through crowded streets with unnatural calm. To save my sanity, I’d learned to focus on the screen of my smartphone instead of the cars rushing by only inches away. Whenever I made the mistake of paying attention, I’d find my right foot pushing hard into the floorboard, my body instinctively trying to hit the brakes. But for once, I didn’t need any distractions. I was sticky with sweat from an intense Krav Maga class and my mind was spinning with thoughts of what the man I loved had done. Gideon Cross. Just thinking of his name sent a heated flare of longing through my tightly strung body. From the moment I first saw him—saw through his stunning and impossibly gorgeous exterior to the dark and dangerous man inside—I’d felt the pull that came from finding the other half of myself. I needed him like I needed my heart to beat, and he’d put himself in great jeopardy, risking everything —for me. The blare of a horn snapped me back to the present. Through the windshield, I saw my roommate’s million-dollar smile flashing at me from the billboard on the side of a bus. Cary Taylor’s lips had a come-hither curve and his long, lean frame was blocking the intersection. The taxi driver was hitting his horn repeatedly, as if that would clear the way. Not a chance. Cary wasn’t moving and neither was I. He lounged on his side, bare-chested
