National bestselling author Sylvain Reynard continues the story of Gabriel and Julia, two lovers bound together by their darkest desires.

But those very desires may destroy them . . .

Professor Gabriel Emerson has embarked on a passionate, yet clandestine affair with his former student Julia Mitchell. Sequestered on a romantic holiday in Italy, he tutors her in the sensual delights of the body and the raptures of sex.

But when they return, their happiness is threatened by conspiring students, academic politics, and a jealous ex-lover. When Gabriel is confronted by the university administration, will he succumb to Dante’s fate? Or will he fight to keep Julia, his Beatrice, forever?

In Gabriel’s Rapture, the brilliant sequel to the wildly successful debut novel, Gabriel’s Inferno, Sylvain Reynard weaves an exquisite love story that will touch the reader’s mind, body, and soul, forever.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Gabriel turned down the burn ... Well, if book one was a slow burn; book two had almost no burn at all. The first 2/3 of this book was predictable and a bit dull. The last bit redeemed the novel and made me hopeful for a sequel. Gabriel is as tortured and dark as we expect, but Julia grows up significantly, and is a lot more likeable in this instalment. A reasonable sophomore effort, but not as engaging as the first.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well then! I only have one thing to say about this book and thats please write more. I loved both books. Although it did feel to rushed as most sequels do. it was still amazing and was better than 50 shades. Only cause this had love in it, and 50 was so much sex it was wrong. All in all it was awesome and should be read by all. Also if your like me and have a tendency to skip. I really don't think that would be good, its one of those books that you need to read read. Ciao
