Reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun to read and incredibly enlightening This book is a collection of life lessons explained through very funny, entertaining, and memorable parables. It is an easy read...only a few hours...but it's a book you will read several times. I've already purchased 3 copies because my friends borrow the book and I never get it back, because they pass it on to others. This book teaches you that your life is very much up to you, because your life is actually the result of the way you think and the choices you make. I found it wonderfully insightful and sensible.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Best Book Ever Speaking as someone who used to be as cynical as there gets this is the book that changed my entire outlook on life. It makes you laugh and it makes you think. It's the best self-help book out there.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from How to be Happy, Dammit Wow! Cool book! A lot of helpful, soul-boosting info in very few words, (i.e. a big bang for your book bucks)! I read this in one evening and have since re-read it 5 or 6 times. (This is amazing since I'm only managing 1 book every 2 months right now.) There's something in this book for everyone to use in their day-to-day living. Plentiful humour combined with simple philosophy actually touch on answering that age-old question: What IS the meaning of Life? . Add visually pleasing photography/art and here's a 3-thumbs up book! (ok, use a big toe!)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A excellent easy read This is not your normal book with lines and paragraphs, but a book with colorful designs and photographs to illustrate the points. There are total 44 life lessons in the book, you can finish in half an hour or a life time. There is a great book to buy as a gift for yourself and for your friends. Everyone will love it.

From the Jacket

“Life Lesson #21: You must remember: You are here now . . . no, no, now . . . NO, NOW! You are a human being and not a human was or a human will be. So you try to spend more time being present—and less time being busy. Though, granted, things have gotten a heck more hectic since you were born. You now even have an answering machine. (You now even have people to avoid on this answering machine.) You also know that sometimes you can get so outrageously busy that you could pass by a troll standing on the street corner waving a million bucks at you . . . and you might not even notice. Meaning . . . Life Lesson #22: It doesn't matter how fast you get there if you're heading in the wrong direction.” —From HOW TO BE HAPPY, DAMMIT"Offers tasty mood food. . . .a fascinating read." —The Toronto Star Week
