I Can't Find the Words to Tell You

Introduction

W.E. (Bill) Kostiuk came to Canada from Ukraine with his parents in 1898, when he was four years old. His parents homesteaded on a farm not far from Wakaw, Saskatchewan. Bill was a marvellous story-teller, and he often told the story of his coming to Canada.

Anne Everatt is Bill's daughter and she, too, is a marvellous story-teller, as well as a very gifted artist. This book is Bill's story, written down and illustrated by Anne. It is dedicated by Anne "To my father, W.E. Kostiuk, who could tell it better than I can write it."
