About the Author

MIKE LEONETTI has written numerous books for children and adults about the good ol'' hockey game. His current picture book series about hockey heroes includes titles such as Crosby''s Golden Goal, A Hero Named Howe, My Leafs Sweater, and Wendel and The Great One. A lifelong Toronto Maple Leafs fan, Mike lives in Woodbridge, Ontario, with his wife and son.

GARY MCLAUGHLIN has been illustrating for over 30 years. He is well-known for his larger-than-life murals, including a piece commissioned for the 50th anniversary of Maple Leaf Gardens that hung in the lobby for over a decade, and a 12" x 6" canvas featuring every single Toronto Maple Leaf to ever pull on the blue and white.
