Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good, I Think Here Susan Juby has created a character so normal that I think we can all relate to certain aspects of her. A refreshing and funny perspective on teenage life, Alice, I Think draws readers in with the other worldly yet decidedly normal persona of Alice.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Alice is Wonderful Alice, I Think is an absolutely wonderful coming of age story. Alice resonates with honesty and individuality. I laughed out loud as I read of her adventures in hair styling, counselling and fashion. This book is for all those girls who feel totally misunderstood and can't seem to fit in anywhere (or at least until they finish high school...) While her take on the world is indeed different and off key, it is never mean-spirited. Susan Juby is a gifted writer whose scathing, but never cruel, wit skewers the New Age Leftover Hippie culture and teenage angst in equal measures. Can hardly wait to read what she writes next!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointing.. I read this book after passing it many times and thinking I might as well give it a shot. I picked a random page in the book and it had me laughing so I decided to buy it. I'm a big fan of the Georgia Nicolson series by Louise Rennison which is basically the same thing except its set in Britain. After reading about Georgia..Alice was a real let down. I might have found it funny if I had read it first and it would have made Georgia look that much better but I didn't, so I'm kinda disappointed...If anyone liked this book, read Angus, Thongs and Full-frontal Snogging by Louise Rennison, I guarantee you that you'll love it!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Thumbs Down I started reading Alice, I Think, expecting a witty and interesting novel, but was deeply disappointed by its lacking plot. It was hard for me to read at some points and while there were limited humorous tidbits, i found it trying too hard to be funny. There was absolutely no great climatic event and there's no real substance. The story is really devoid of the magic which captures your interest and makes you want to keep reading. If you see this book on the store shelf, merely pass by it and move on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Greatest book ever! Alice, I think Takes you through the many adventures...and obstacles of a Abnormal Teen. Susan gives great description to the book and makes it worth reading twice...or more! The second book to the series has arrived and will definatly be hard to put down, much like the first book!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from THIS BOOK ROX HARD! This book rox! It's funny from beginning to end, and since it's written from alice's point of view, with no narrator, it's kinda like reading someone's private diary! GET THIS BOOK! U WON'T B DISAPPOINTED!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Five Stars I couldn't believe people didn't like this book! I loved it! From the beginning I loved Alice her realistic character traits. But I did feel the ending was quite rushed, it seemed like it was cut off. Even though it was a little fast paced toward the end, I still greatly enjoyed the book.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hilarious Somepeople find this book awful. They should open their minds. Try and envision a girl such as Alice. Alice is a wonderful character who captured my interest from start to finish. She's funny, strange, and completely socially inept. She made me laugh more times then I could count. SO give alice a try, cause you might just roll off your bed from laughing so hard.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from laugh riot this is just an excellent story, I laughed at so many of Alice's insights into the people and situations of a teen misfit growing up in small town BC... I identified! Highly recommend for teens and adults alike...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What??? Maybe this book hits a little close to home for some people or they have NO sense of humour. Don't listen to the naysayers. It was awesomely smart and funny. Alice is excellent!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just amazing Now I'm not the kind of person that enjoys reading for fun in their spare time. This book was recommended to me by a friend. She told me it was funny, and a great read. I began reading it and could not believe how inticing it was. I could not put it down, and even chose the book over watching T.V. I recommend this book for anyone that wants a laugh, and a fun time. Alice, I think is funny and inspiring, and goes places other books don't. READ THIS BOOK!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from :( I was very disapointed with Alice I Think. I thought it was going to be a great novel, but instead I found it very boring. Yes, some parts were interesting but most parts were horrible. It took so long for the author to just get to the point of the book. I reccemend you DON'T read Alice, I think.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A very funny book I have met a few people that find this to be an awful read, and not funny at all. For one, you need to be somewhat intelligent to appreciate the humour. You also need to have experienced a few of the things Alice has, or you will not understand the humour in it. It was an excellent read, and definately one of the more funny books I have had the pleasure of reading.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I'm so glad i'm 45 Alice, I think, is me growing up well 30 years ago. Different hair (way different after the cut) but in essensence unsure, possibly uncool, and really untough. I think this book appeals to women who perhaps had not great experiences growing up. I loved it. (and hey I know the bookstore)

Rated 1 out of 5 by from !!!!!!!!!!!! I did not find that this book was very funny. I got this book because it was supposed to be good and she has the same name as mine... The ending is inappropriate and gross. The story is not very happy but mostly sad and made me think alice was a sore loser... Susan Juby did not make very good characters! my mom read this and thought she could write a better book HA! If u want to read teen books that are funny and good go for the princess diaries and angus thongs and full frontal snogging
