Reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Compassionate and helpful When I rated this, I accidentally pressed 3 stars instead of 5, and couldn't figure out how to undo that. Anyway, this is the most helpful book I've read so far on this topic. It's step-by-step approach is very helpful, the authors are compassionate and explain what is happening and why. The authors can be long-winded, but this is, I think, due to their approach of acknowledging that one size does not fit all, and hence they provide many alternative solutions for each potential symptom of ptsd that one might be going through. This book has, for me, been much more effective than therapy. I have gained insights, just by answering the questions that they asked, that I could not have gotten through therapy. Thank you!
