Rated 4 out of 5 by from Slimy in a good way They're slimy, have tentacles, eat your brain, and come from the far reaches of time an space. They're aberrations. And now they've got a sourcebook all of their own for your Dungeons and Dragons game. Aboleths, Beholders, Mind Flayers, Neogi, Grell and the Tsochar each gain a chapter that outlines their source (finally, learn just where the Mind Flayer's began!), their anatomy, special feats, languages and culture, and a ready-made encounter to introduce them into your campaign. A chapter adding new monsters follows, with less details. Finally, a chapter for the players follows - set for aberration hunters, with feats, prestige classes, magic and spells, and then a few organizations that defend humanity. Quite the nice addition to your game: if you're at all going to infest your group with slimy things that go squish in the night, definitely add this book to your library.
