Reviews

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A BEAUTIFUL Book BUT... While this book is beautiful, thoroughly compiled and very creative, it's important to note that while the end product is simple to cook and consume, you will need very specific supplies (freezedried meats, dehydrated dairy, fruit, veggies, etc, and a good deal of REAL canning and/or pressure-sealing/packaging equipment) to produce these recipes. Without already having these items on hand (and therefore no need for them otherwise) undertaking any of these recipes would constitute a LIFESTYLE change, a rather costly one, at that. As a result, and though I'm sad to say it, this book was entirely of no use to me and my family. I'm a sucker for a good cookbook, and this is a lovely one - but one I had to return.
