Photographer Robyn Lea followed a childhood dream that took her from a tiny regional Australian town to the mysterious hidden world of Milan. Like a modern-day Alice in Wonderland, she made many discoveries, met wildly inspiring artists, writers, designers, curators and chefs and gained entry to parts of the city that often elude visitors and residents alike.
In documenting her findings she created this book which features a wonderfully eclectic feast of images, celebrating the art of life - Milan style. Using sophisticated and contemporary design, Melbourne graphic studio ERD collaborated with Robyn to produce this rare glimpse of the ongoing 'creative renaissance' of this mercurial city.
