Reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Quintessential Addition... What a fabulous book! Outside my living room window I have 20 birdfeeders of various sizes and styles. As we live in a rainforest in Northwestern British Columbia, we see quite a variety of birds throughout the year. I'm not a serious "birder", I just love nature! After noticing a jay-sized bird carrying off one of my red breasted nuthatches...I needed to know more. I assumed it was a small hawk. Uncertain of which book to purchase, I immediately was drawn to the name "National Audubon Society". Good choice! IMMEDIATELY I was able to recognize my new visitor as an American Kestral (Sparrow Hawk). The photographs in the book are amazing! The descriptions are execellent. An execellent addition to anyones library!
