About the Author

John Radford is an experienced wine writer, speaker, and broadcaster. He is consultant to the Spanish Commercial Office and writes its annual comprehensive survey on Spanish vineyards and wine. In 2003, he will host the largest ever tasting of over 500 Spanish wines and will act as Spanish Regional Chairman for Decanter''s new tasting awards. He is the co-author of Fortified and Sweet Wines and is a contributor to a number of wine encyclopedias; he also lectures on Spanish wine for the Wine & Spirit Education Trust in London. He lives in Brighton.
