Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amayzing, exacly why I love Rumiko Takahashi Rumiko, the creator of Inuyasha, Urusei and Ikkoku topped of Ranma 1/2 with a big BANG! There are many feelings to be revealed inside this action-packed manga as well as near-death situations. Touching and romantic. I'd definitaly reccomend this to all Ranma, and manga fans!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ranma 1/2 Extremely Good Ranma 1/2 is an excellent, and extremely funny graphic novel by Rumiko Takahashi (author of Inu Yasha, my favourite manga). This book is falls in the gag manga catagory. This is because it is not supposed to be serious in any way as Ranma turns into a girl when splashed with cold water, and his father into a panda. This graphic novel is wonderfully drawn and was first puplished in 1988 in Japan. I recomend this book for mature people only (note the Rated T+ for Older Teens on the back) due to some nudity. I rate this title 5/5 however some people may disagree.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Hilarious Stories of Rumiko Takahashi I'll make this short and to the point. Rumiko Takahashi has always been a great artist and Ranma 1/2 is most likely her greatest work. Volume 15 contains 2 full stories, beautiful black and white artfilled pages. These stories are both hilarious and heartbreaking... sort of. All Takahashi fans in general would want to read this, and if you're not a specific fan of her work you might want to check this out anyway. Read one of the other reviews for a more detail description of the plots.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ranma What can you say about a book by the creator of Maison Ikkoku (another HIGHLY recomended title!) except that this is truly an excelent Manga. The book is a stunning mix of imaginative charcaters, hilarious mix ups, and reeks of aesthetic greatness. Plus, the sheer inventiveness of Takahashi and the great plot development shows that it is one of the best books to emerge from Japan. A must read.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AWESOME BOOK This book is so great. As a person who wants to write a comic book in the future I thought this book was excellent. I've read many mangas before, Sailor Moon, Magic Knights, Ah!My Goddess, but this one has it's own unique humor. I liked it much better than the other manga authors I've read, and it's SO funny. I read this quite long manga in under an hour it was so intriging. I recomend this book to any manga fans.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ranma 1/2 vol.10 The Ranma 1/2 series has always been a great one, it'll never disopoint you especially not this one. This was my very first Ranma 1/2 graphic novel so I'm very familiar to it. It all starts when Shampoo's Great Grandsmother gets something wrong in their food order. They get a piece of food that when another person eats it, you make a sound and a order and that person will obey to that order as long as you make that sound. When Shampoo tries the use it on Ranma to get him to hug her, Tatewaki Kuno sneezes right before she snaps her fingers. So whenever someone sneezes, Ranma will hug them. Bad news is, Ranma and Akane are alone for the night, and Akane has a cold! Next, the little pervert man (a.k.a Happosai) makes a bowl of noodles which makes you super strong, and Akane eats it by mistake. When Akane enters a super badminton tournament against Shampoo things get out of control, especially when Ranma finds out that if Akane doesn't take the antidote for it she'll grow whiskers!!! Last, the princaple of Ranma's school finally returns! But after getting in a little fight with Ranma about his braided hair, the princaple decides to give girls bowl cuts and shave boys bald!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ranma 1/2 graphic novel #15 Ranma 1/2 has always been a very funny martial arts/comedy since the very first volume where he first accidently falls upon a curse that makes him turn into a girl everytime he touches cold water (hot water reverses the effect). In volume 15 Ranma is challenged at school by a french martial artist named Piccolo Chardin 2, the only thing is that his martial arts is eating food really fast! After losing a battle to Piccolo, Ranma discovers that Piccolo is supposed to be wed by one of the Tendo sisters. Turning into his alternate form, Ranma pretends to be their sister in order to learn the martial arts and beat Piccolo Chardin 2. But there are a few twists along the way when he/she can't turn back into a boy and when he/she can't seem to master the martial arts! Then, Ranma and Akane bicker a lot, but when the fighting goes to far Akane gets rid of Ranma for good. But Ranma is now Nabiki's fiancé! This martial arts comedy has over 30 volumes, I recomend getting any of them if you possibly can.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rumiko Takahashi does it again! Once again, as I read this volume of Ranma 1/2, I am imediatly drawn right into the storyline. Rumiko Takahashi's skills in drawing the characters, and writing an awsome story are entwined perfectly into one of the greatest Graphic Novel series to have ever hit the Graphic Novel reading world (in my eyes anyway). She (Takahashi) manages to create a great combination of humor, action, adventure, and romance in this fun manga. I have read several of the volumes of Ranma 1/2, and many other different japanese manga comics also, and Ranma 1/2 has always come out on top as the best comic I've ever read. Other great works that I've read by Rumiko Takahashi are; Maison Ikkaku and Inu Yasha. Other great Mangas not by Rumiko Takahashi that I've read are; Neon Genisis Evangelion; Oh! My Goddess!; Card Captor Sakura; Sailor Moon, and I's.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hilarious I read this book when my friend Deborah Meltzer told me about it. She hid it so no one would find it except me. I went that day with one of my friends and I read the book. The beginning was funny when Shampoo put a curse on Ranma that when someone sneezed he would hug that person. Shampoo expected to sneeze but instead Kuno always beat her to it. So, Ranma would be hugging Kuno, who had a cold. Then Shampoo finally sneezed, when she was a cat. Ranma hugged her as a cat, the animal he's scared of. Then Happosai made a special kind of food that would induce his strength, but Akane ate his meal. She was even stronger than Ranma! At the end of the book, the principal of Furinkan High School decides to give all the students bowl cut, unless they find a special coconut. But he forgets where it is hidden. Then he remembers, it's on the back of his son's head. And his son is... Kuno! I recommend this book to whomever likes something funny to read on a rainy day.
