Reviews

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not that great This book was a little slow in the begining. I think a lot could have been cut and it would not have mattered. What irritated me was how unrealistic the characters became. They had big leaps of character change that didn't seem to fit seem to have come out of nowhere. Let me just say, in my opinion, the plot twist revealed at the end and the aftermath of the secret coming out was horrible. I didn't know where the story was going and frankly I didn't really care. I finished I because I wanted to see what happened to one character but that was the only reason. I have read better books both in mystery and romance.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from For Fans of Danielle Steele If you're a fan of Danielle Steele, this is pretty much along the same lines and I don't think you'd be disappointed. It was a good story, had a good pace and I was entertained. I just didn't think it was a particularly moving story and I found the characters ridiculously old-fashioned. I'm not sure if this how exceedingly rich people are, but more than once I had to remind myself that the novel was set in the 21st century, and not in the early 1900s. It was just odd and that irked me more than once.
