Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wow This is an excellent insight into the the work and effort put into Final Fantasy IX. With all the Original sketches of the main characters and sub-characters you can see just all the artistic talent and effort that designs the games setting. Also with all the weapons, areas, and airships it helps show just how hard everyone works on paper before they actually start making the game. But if your not one that just admires all the aristic work on paper then don't worry because 3d images are all over this book with the discriptions of the characters, areas, monsters, items, weapons, airships, and even cinematics. The art gallery at the back is the icing on this very tasty cake, and some of the drawings are done so well that you have to take a good look to know if it was done on a computer or not. I suggest this book for anyone who is into graphic design, game design, sketching, or if you just love the game. A mear 5 isn't enough for this book but I'm afraid that its all I can give.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GODNESS basically, this book is unreal. i never got into the final fantasy games because i cant get into RPG's. i didnt like the final fantasy movie either. the story sucked. i hate anime for the most part too. nevertheless this book is filled with unbelievable art and should be checked out by artists and animators as well as fans of the game.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I wish that there were more books like this one... One word: beautiful. The pictures are very well done and well categorized. You have the main characters of the game, to monsters, to scenery, to weapons, to clothing, to knives and forks! Even some of the more popular monsters in the Final Fantasy series make an appearance in the book with a short description of them or a small text describing their role in the game.
