About the Author
Canadian chef JENNIFER OGLE learned her craft from a variety of sources, among them the renowned French cooking school La Varenne, which in turn led to an opportunity to work in the Michelin-starred restaurant La Madeleine in Burgundy, France. Her love of cooking started at an early age, when many a Sunday afternoon was spent experimenting in the kitchen. Successes and failures alike fuelled the gastronomic fire, and Jennifer ultimately went on to train under some of Canada’s best chefs. Today, Jennifer enjoys all aspects of the culinary world, from cooking to writing. Author of The Canadian Cookbook, Jennifer has a particular passion for seasonal, local ingredients.
