The Garden Letters: 3rd printing is rated 5 out of 5 by 1.
When Elspeth Bradbury moved from rural New Brunswick to West Vancouver, she initiated a lively correspondence with her friend and former neighbour Judy Maddocks. This charming collection of letters reveals as much about the seasons in a woman''s life as it does the growing cycles of a garden. "One truly enters the lives of these women and feels the rhythm of their days. A most refreshing read for both keen gardeners and amateurs." -Globe and Mail

Reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A pleasant read What a perfect book for a summer's day. Not only do you learn about gardening, but the wise and witty correspondence of these two women gives you a glimpse into their lives. At the end, I felt I had made two new friends. This might be the perfect gift for a teacher at the end of term.
