This volume contains the texts of 39 interviews Milk did for newspapers, radio, and television, in which he describes his life, struggles, strategies, and dreams. It includes transcripts from three famous debates between Milk and John Briggs over the notorious Proposition 6 Briggs Initiative. Editorial Reviews

"Studded with photographs that enhance Milk''s testimony, the book tells the emotional history of this unforgettable gay advocate. His personality shines and often bubbles over. Emery includes intensive, eye-opening interviews . . . The fiery volley between Milk and Briggs is amazing." -Bay Area Reporter (June 14, 2012)
