Rated 5 out of 5 by from An inspiration of a book! I am fussy about my cookbooks and I am no big cook but I was inspired by this book. The pictures are stunning and the recipes are easy. I can't wait to try a few recipes and at the same time learn more about my Italian heritage with the explanations Fina shares with each recipe. A winner and highly recommended!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Healthy Italian: Cooking for the Love of Food and Family I received the cookbook and it is parked on my counter, sitting on a bookstand replacing the previous cookbook. Being married to a Northern Italian I could never perfect béchamel sauce but at the age of 45 in combination with Fina's recipe I’m happy to say “I DID IT”!!! When I picked up the book from the post office (Chapters Indigo online purchase) I quickly glanced through it and with bright yellow flag page makers I started to mark the recipes I wanted to tackle right away but when I was done almost every single page had a flag. I can’t wait to display Rosa’s Gluten Free Sponge Cake in the cake dome on the kitchen counter…I predict I will know the recipe off hand!!! Thank you to the author for sharing the cookbook with the rest of the world!

Recipes are simple and ingredients are easy to find.  A great resource for anyone interested in taking control of their (and their family's) health - without compromising great taste.  All the recipes I've tried so far were a hit and will be added to my permanent cooking repertoire.

The recipes are easy to follow with amazing photographs.  I have tried a few of the recipes and each one has been a hit with my family.  Our personal favourite so far is the chicken cacciatore - it is going to be a regular in our household!
