Rated out of 5 by from It's a super awesome book! I had just received Credit from the store, and was eager to spend it on an art book. I'm in love with Legend of Zelda, and I plan on becoming a game developer later in life. This book is beautiful and amazing, and I love it. The timeline and the character descriptions as well as the historia was exceptional to read, and the concept art was amazing. I got lucky and was able to purchase this online for such an awesome price, I'm so pleased! :)

Rated out of 5 by from Oh no... I just got off work and wanted to get this! Ah... the front page says it's 15 dollars still =(

Rated out of 5 by from Why in the email I received is it $15 and then when I get to the ordering its now $23? No thanks, to Amazon I go!

Rated out of 5 by from I got tricked by this store price versus online price as well. The store had 21 copies in stock but they wanted to charge almost double the price asked online, and if you want a copy delivered to your local store (for free), the estimated date was weeks later. I just ended up buying it from Amazon.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Must-Own! I was very eager to hear about this, and got it as soon as it came out, went home and read it cover to cover. The artwork of the series is a large section of the book, and it was very interesting to see how a character model or an enemy is created. I was surprised with the level of overall detail and look, but what really made it great was the very intricate timeline. It is a must-have for every Zelda fan, as it answers many key questions players of the various games in the series have had over the years. As well, there is a short manga-style comic by Akira Himekawtta, who wrote and drew many Zelda-based manga, all of which are great. In conclusion, if you like The Legend of Zelda, this is the book for you, and a great piece for the memorabilia collection, celebrating 25 glorious years of the one of the best game franchises in history, or should I say, Historia?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A must have for any fan Whether or not you think this should be considered the official timeline of the Zelda Universe, its a great look at how the developers of the game see the journey they've embarked on with the creation of this series. Its rich in detail, and still leaves us room for the debate we love so much. It's a great look at the lives of the characters as well, showing what the devs believe to be their motivations and their thoughts. The art section was lovely, and a good look at the mindsets of Nintendo staff as they went along with production of the games, seeing how character designs transformed quite a bit before they arrived at what we would come to know and love. Finally, the manga chapter in the back, that covers the time before Skyward Sword, is beautifully drawn by the duo that is "Akira Himekawa", and the story is rich and fulfilling, showing a plausible to start to the Spirit of the Hero who dwells within us all as we flew through the sky, rode across the fields, and sailed across the sea.

Rated out of 5 by from I really hope this doesn't take 3-5 weeks. I was fulling willing to buy this in the store today but $38.99 CND plus tax is just outrageous compared to getting it online for $23. I want to support my local store but this seems like a "shoot yourself in foot" marketing tactic. Most places match online advertising so why not Chapters?

Rated out of 5 by from just an fyi - i'm ordering this from amazon.ca. It's all well and good that you have a great price online, and even that you let me ship to my local Coles for free pickup; however, there are 4 copies of this IN STOCK at my local Coles but they WONT PRICE MATCH the online price. let that sink in. I can order here. ship it to them. pay $25. but if i walk into the store and buy it there i pay $40. Sorry, this is the 21st century and every other box store price matches their own online stores. as far as i'm concerned this is double ticketing (especially when you consider that you have a "find it in store" link DIRECTLY BESIDE the sale price online).

Rated out of 5 by from Its 23.16 online but if you go into the store its 36.95. This is one book ill just buy from amazon
