Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Read Graham Greene is a fantasic auter and the Quiet American is just another dsplay of his writing skill. He includes just the right amount of action, intrigue and interesting dialoge to keep your attention focused on to story while still giving you time to question and think about his interesting characters. The Quiet American has everything a good book need it tells the story of two men and thier psycological and phisical struggle to win the love of a young and beautiful Vietnamese girl in Siagon. I would recommend this book to just about anyone esspecially someone who has enjoys other Graham Greene books.
