From the Publisher

A woman of the nineties. A young pioneer on the Oregon Trail. Though lifetimes apart, they share a remarkable journey. When Sierra discovers her ancestors handcrafted quilt and reads her journal, she finds that their lives are amazingly similar. By following her ancestors example, she learns to surrender to Gods sovereignty and unconditional love.

From the Jacket

"Sierra Madrid." Woman of today. Bold. Determined. Her life is about to be turned upside down.

"Mary Kathryn McMurray." Young pioneer on the Oregon Trail. She is filled with anger at being uprooted from her home.

Two women, centuries apart, are joined through a tattered journal as they contend with God, husbands-even themselves-until they fall into the arms of the One who loves them unconditionally.
