Reviews

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Intriguingly Refreshing. This novel was recommended through the assistance of a store employee and I am very pleased that it was. The novel can be difficult to follow at times as it jumps between perspectives and timelines but as long as you pay attention to the heading of each new chapter you should be fine. The idea of a time travelling serial killer seemed ridiculous to say the least but upon reading the first few chapters I was pleasantly surprised. The novel took on a slight Stephen King approach in terms of its plot line. However, I wish the author would have taken it one step further and really brought the character of the house to the forefront of the novel. While I understand that the protagonist vs antagonist role was between Kirby and the killer. I wish the house had a more commanding presence. I found myself yearning to understand the mystery behind the house and though I liked that the novel left the house to the minds of the readers I found myself wanting more. Overall the novel is not challenging to read and maintains a sense of flow. I would most definitely recommend this novel.
