But their water supply is diminishing. What?s going on? Each sumptuous landscape illustration conceals hidden animal pictures for readers to find as they count the animals that visit the water hole and try to solve the mystery: will the animals come back or is their water source gone forever?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful book! My twin boys have loved this book since they were about 20 months old. The pictures are stunning, the noises you get to make will delight children and the story is both sad and joyful.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful book This is a lovely children's book for a range of ages. For younger children, the illustrations are captivating. For older children, the story is interesting. In addition to reading the book to my 4 year old and 2 year old, we play I spy looking for all of the hidden animals in the artwork. A great buy.
